After a fun-filled and exciting journey over the past few years we – Magda, Troy Pierce & Marc Houle – have taken the decision to leave Minus and pursue our own unique musical styles even further. While we’re sad to be leaving behind a big part of our history, we feel that we have reached a point in our careers where it’s time to creatively spread our wings and focus our energy and enthusiasm on our own label, Items & Things.
What was once a side-project for the experimental, beautiful and inspiring music we discovered on our travels around the world, Items & Things will now be home not only to the projects we A&R together, but also the music we release ourselves. There’s already a great deal of activity planned over the next year, with forthcoming releases from Magda, Marc and Troy, and from new acts like Madato, Danny Benedettini, Tomas More & Andy Martin, as well as past label heroes, Click Box. We will also be expanding our successful events series “Down & Out”, with new dates to be announced soon.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our friends and supporters from across the years and we look forward to sharing with you the new and great adventures that lie ahead! We would also like to thank Richie Hawtin and the Minus team for all their tremendous support and guidance over the years.
“Items and things are bits and pieces of uniqueness we come across. The label is a platform to launch the music that we love. There are no rules, just sounds we like and artists we believe in.” – Magda, Marc Houle & Troy Pierce

The new ellen allien fashion spring/summer collection 2010 captures just that very feeling of the moment. As the extravagant colors of the flowers fade into the night, a sentimental new world of black and white is open to discoveries and urges of movement in all directions. Light and airy dancing freedom; black floral lace; white and black floral stitched cotton, delicate dark summer wool; hazy prints of dancing people on loose cut t-shirts: Each detail transports the feeling of Night Flowers; leading dreamingly throughout the night…
